It's the first week of Rose Festival. All this time I thought you were from around here.
No, I'm newbie. Funny thing is, I didn't mind the mostly soggy May. In fact, I was loving the green lawns, the flowers busting out all over, the general vibrancy of Portland. But June? Fifties and 60s and rain? I may never adjust to that.
Give it a few weeks. From the Summer solstice to the Autumnal equinox, there is no finer weather in America than right here.
